4th week in communication skills

This is the 4th week in communication skills. It is a last week for this module and only left 4 days. Trainer for this whole week is Mr. Khairul Najmi Idris. He is a wonderful trainer that can touch our heart only by using his words. He was the responsible person who manages to increase my confidence level throughout the practice and presentation. He teaches useful tips on how to amaze people with our presentation. But unfortunately, I have to take another one day leave on 30 March 2010 because I have to attend an interview conducted by SPA for Research Officer Position.
At the end of this module, we have been assigned to do presentation one product that we believe on. The presentation must be delivered in 6 minutes time. While delivering our product, we also have been observed and evaluate by the third parties, which is also our trainer before. After the presentation we received a constructive comment from the evaluator. I will take this comment as a constructive criticism and will work hard to improve myself.

3rd week of communication module

Now is 3rd week in communication module. I am expecting more this week after experiencing such an informative week before this. My expectation is correct.
On the 1st day, we have been introduced to new skills in communications that is negotiation skills. Mr. Hisham Ab Karim was our trainer. He was a good negotiator. He trains us to be a good negotiator in future. He also explains the tips to use in negotiation processes. This class reminds me to the film entitled The Negotiator.
The second and third days of this week, we have been introduced to a journalist Mrs Liew Suet Fun. She teaches us on how to write an article for publications purposes. She also teaches us the differences between creative writing and scientific writing. At the end of her class, she want us to write an article which a combination of creative writing and scientific writing. During this class, I realize that my writing skills have a lot to be improved. I am glad that she assists me to it. She was glad that her objectives to conduct this class are achieved.
25 march 2010. One new topic has been introduced to us, The Neurolinguistic programming. I wonder what these topics have to do with communication skills. The responsible traner for this topic is mr Faizal Kamal Mohamed. He is a NLP Practitioner. He teaches us how to control our subconscious mind in order to get a good and positive mindset that of course will affect our decision on life.
On 26 March 2010, I take one day leave. It is because I went back to my hometown for MTeST examination form KPLI intake.

What I have learned in this week???

© Also improving my on Cover Letter writing skill, such as its language, format, and also it politeness content.


© I also learn and experienced how validity of meeting effects our company decision. Furthermore, I also learn how to make boring meeting interesting.

© Learn how to write an agenda for meeting purposes. Business writing – I have learned how to write letter that represent our company. This include the rules and regulation, its types and varieties, and the Do and Don`t tips in writing a business letter.

© I also learned some basic tips to do Public speaking. But unfortunately my confident level is not enough to make me a good speaker in front of the public.

© I also realize that I not very confident to speak in front of public. I get nervous and my voice will became very slow, my hands will shake, and I was afraid to do eye contact with the audience. Hope I can improve it, with the helps from the trainers and my friends.

BeST - Unirazak (1st Impression)

First time heard about Unirazak City Campus and never been there before. Some say it was a new, shining building. I will not comment anything before I see it myself.

Well, when I see it myself.....How to say it....

It was a new building with new lecture rooms, new facilities, new equipments and it was nice place to attend to...

It looks like some corporate building running in a formal lifestyle... it was good...

Even though I`m not very familiar with this place yet, but I hope with help from my trainer and my new friends.... I will be ok!
